Corrections
This is an opportunity to get some points added to your exam score.
  1. Any of you are allowed to do exam corrections. These corrections will add points back to your exam, up to 35% of the points taken off.
  2. You need to make corrections for all of the mistakes you made on the exam. Please provide the correct solution to EVERY problem that you did not get completely correct. For the TRUE/FALSE problem, you will be required to give justification for both true and false answers
  3. In addition to giving the correct solution, you must GIVE AN EXPLANATION for why your original solution is incorrect.
  4. The exam corrections must be submitted to me orally. Make an appointment or come by my office hours by the due date. (It is best if you do this AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, while the exam is still fresh in your mind.)

The Final Exam is on Friday, May 10, 12:00-2:30 pm, in class:

The exam will cover all of Chapters 9-12 of the textbook. It will be similar to the homework, including both computational and proof exercises. To practice for the exam, review the homework problems and suggested problems, do some extra problems similar to the homework problems, and know ALL of the relevant definitions and theorems.
