1. Prepare problems for presentation that will illustrate your understanding of the course material. I am unlikely to have a chance to see all of them, but I will feel free to navigate among them. Prepare a total of seven problems in the following categories:
Chapters 3-6, Chapter 7, Chapter 8, Chapters 9-10, Chapters 11-13, Chapters 14-15, and Chapters 20&24
The conversation will be something like "show me something from … ". You should choose problems that well-demonstrate your understanding. Evaluation will be based on both problem choice and competence at chosen problems.
2. Please produce a presentation no more than a page which would answer the question "What is Galois Theory?" for an advanced high school student. If you want more specificity you may assume they are currently taking AP Calculus AB.
