→ Laptop: This course will take advantage of the fact that Geneseo has a laptop requirement. Among other things, student laptops will be needed for data analysis in the lab.

→ PHYS103 Laboratory Manual will be provided free through XanEdu FlexEd. This is a new electronic lab manual that we are trying for the first time.
→ Smartphone, preferably with both front and rear cameras
→ Functioning installation of software: Zoom (available free)
→ PHYS103 Laboratory Manual. This is only available through the Campus Bookstore.
→ A lab notebook. Must be 5×5 quad ruled, and
bound but not wire bound. (5×5 means 5 squares to the inch.)
Pages must be securely attached—you should be able to pick up the
notebook by a page with no danger of it ripping out
A recommended option is Avery style 43-591; the 8.5"×11" size
makes it easier to use.
