Fall 2008 Casting will occur on Thursday,September 11 at 6pm in the Brodie Dance Studio Prior to Casting: - All Orchesis members will be emailed (it will also be posted here) choreographer names, music selections, rehearsal times, and difficultly levels of dance prior to casting. This gives members an opportunity to listen to music and decide which dances they would like to sign up for. - If you have a conflict and cannot attend casting, you need to email the orchesis account before Thursday, September 11 with your top two choices. |

At Casting: - Everyone present needs to sign up for TWO dances. One being their first choice and the other being their second choice. Sign-ups go in order of class beginning with seniors. - Since more styles of dance are more popular than others, the officers try to give everyone their first choices but that may not happen in every case. - When casting is finished the officers will go through the sign-up sheets and assign everyone to a dance. The Cast List will be emailed and posted within a week of casting. Your choreographer will then contact you about rehearsals |
