Using the Geneseo Inboxes and Outboxes

A professor can create an outbox. Only the professor can post materials to an outbox, but any Geneseo student can retrieve them.

A professor can also create an inbox. Any student can submit materials to an inbox. Other students can’t see the materials that you submit, but the professor who owns the inbox can see everything.

Both inboxes and outboxes can have directory trees (i.e., they can contain sub folders).

All campus-owned computers can use inboxes by default. However, if you want to use your own laptop instead, you'll have to configure your laptop first.  Students need to use the Virtual Private Networking (VPN) to connect to the inboxes from off-campus. On campus, students must be on the encrypted wireless network (eduroam). A computer that is only on the Geneseo Guest wireless network will not be able to access the Inboxes.

Here's the official CIT web site for using them: Boxes.
Along with some useful information there, you'll find some interesting propaganda from CIT!
