CALENDAR
The following timeline has been established by the Chair of the USAEC and has been approved by the Committee members. All dates and times are binding on all candidates and/or designees. For any clarification, please contact the USAEC Chair at saelections@geneseo.edu.
Spring 2013 Election Important Dates:
Informational Meetings
- February 14th at 5pm in Union 324
- February 15th at 2:30pm in Union 330
- February 18th at 3:30pm in Schrader 4
- February 18th at 5pm in Union 319
- February 20th at12 noon in Union 330
All interested parties wishing to run for office are required to attend one of these meetings or otherwise contact the Chair, Steve Fisher, at saelections@geneseo.edu.
4:00 PM Friday, February 22
All candidate paperwork is due in the SA Office.
Wednesday, February 27
Campaigning to commence.
4:00 PM Wednesday, March 6
Ballots are posted on the Student Association Office door. (College Union Room 316)
4:00 PM Sunday, March 10
Ballots must be initialed by each candidate. If a candidate does not initial their name or send a letter to the USAEC chair explaining a mistake, the candidates name will be removed from the ballot
8:00 PM Monday, March 11 through 8:00 PM Wednesday, March 13
Polls will open. Voting begins on Knightlink. Be sure to register for Knightlink in order to vote.
Thursday, March 14
Votes will be counted and results posted on the Student Association door. Results remain unofficial for 24-hours after posting.
