Organization Directory

Welcome to the Student Organization Directory!

With more than 180 student clubs and organizations, there truly is something for everyone at SUNY Geneseo.

A college-registered Student Organization is any student-driven group whose primary membership and entire leadership consists of students enrolled at SUNY Geneseo; is formed in order to contribute to the students' personal development and the advancement of the College Mission; is non-credit bearing; and is officially registered with the Department of Student Life.

Full registration does not imply college endorsement of the positions and views of any organization. Rather, it implies that the institution accepts the organization’s mission as educationally valid and that the organization has complied with institutional registration and continuing registration procedures.

Full registration with the College does not permit the organization to act in the name of the university, to represent the university, engage in any contractual obligation in the name of the university, nor represent the organization as being an official part of the university.

Knightline Dance Team

Knightline is the official dance team at SUNY Geneseo. We perform fast paced routines that incorporate a kickline at Men's and Women's home basketball, hockey, and soccer games. We also perform at various events on campus such as Relay for Life. We are well networked with other campus organizations and are a close knit group that have formed an unbreakable bond. Routines are choreographed by the team captains and the team is advised by Jody DeLoria, an adjunct professor in the dance department. We hold auditions every fall semester.

American Cancer Society on Campus

We work with the American Cancer Society directly to raise money, awareness, and volunteer to help spread their mission as well as create a community to fight back against cancer. We organize many events throughout the year not only only to raise money but to raise awareness for different cancers. Some events are our Pink Tie event, breast cancer walk, and breast week ever for October breast cancer month. We also organize and put on Geneseo's Relay For Life each year and raise thousands of dollars. It is also a way to create community and work towards making a difference for good.

Phi Kappa Pi

Clio was founded in 1872 and is Geneseo's oldest sorority. Our colors are gold and white and our flower is the beautiful daisy. As a tight-knit a loyal organization, we uphold our long-standing traditions with pride. Clios are more than sorority sisters. We're a family of best friends celebrating, doing charity, and sharing a bond that exists beyond the college years.

Delta Phi Epsilon

Our motto is Esse Quam Videri, Latin for "to be, rather than to seem to be". Our philanthropies include, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, ANAD (Anorexia nervosa and associated disorders), the DPhiE Educational Foundation, and the American Cancer Society. We participate in various community service events throughout the year, and as a social sorority, value all other Greek and Student run organizations. We maintain a standard of excellence in regards to scholarship, sisterhood, and membership development.

Alpha Omega Pi

AOPi is a local sorority that was founded in 1985. We are an extremely tight-knit group that is very unique in our own ways. Each sister makes their own mark in AOPi as we are always trying to better ourselves as sisters. AOPi is a place of leadership and encourages girls to get involved and share their passions with the rest of the sorority through those positions of leadership. While we do have an annual philanthropic event, “Making Strides”, a breast cancer awareness walk in Rochester, we are always listening to our sister’s ideas about different organizations to support. We pride ourselves on our ability to lend a helping hand to any sister in need or to any charity our sisters are passionate about. We are located at 7 University and have one of the coolest houses on campus.
