Welcome to the Student Organization Directory!

With more than 180 student clubs and organizations, there truly is something for everyone at SUNY Geneseo.

A college-registered Student Organization is any student-driven group whose primary membership and entire leadership consists of students enrolled at SUNY Geneseo; is formed in order to contribute to the students' personal development and the advancement of the College Mission; is non-credit bearing; and is officially registered with the Department of Student Life.

Full registration does not imply college endorsement of the positions and views of any organization. Rather, it implies that the institution accepts the organization’s mission as educationally valid and that the organization has complied with institutional registration and continuing registration procedures. 

Full registration with the College does not permit the organization to act in the name of the university, to represent the university, engage in any contractual obligation in the name of the university, nor represent the organization as being an official part of the university.

Minority Association for PreHealth Students

The Minority Association for PreHealth Students is a subchapter of the Student National Medical Association. The SNMA is a student-ran organization committed to enriching underserved communities through cultivating clinically excellent, culturally competent, and socially conscious physicians by offering underrepresented and underprivileged minorities in the medical field opportunities and resources.\n\nThese resources include (but not limited to):\nPipeline programs\nMentorships\nLeadership development\nVolunteerism\nResearch opportunities\nClinical experiences\nMed school visits\nPreMed advisors \nMCAT resources!\nCultural Awareness seminars\nRegional and National Conferences\netc.\n\nGeneseo MAPS encourages all members of the prehealth community to join our organization despite what you may identify as.

Alpha Kappa Psi

Co-ed Professional Business Fraternity open to all majors. Our core values are Brotherhood, Integrity, Service, Unity, and Knowledge. AKPsi is the premier developer of principled business leaders

Alpha Sigma Tau

AST's mission is to invest in women by instilling the skills necessary to navigate life, and inspire members to enrich their own lives and the lives of others. National sorority that recruits women in the spring semester to join our sisterhood. We participate in multiple community service events, have weekly meetings with all active members (currently 87), hold sister bonding events, and provide leadership opportunities.

InterGreek Council

The object of the Inter Greek Council shall be to develop, maintain and promote fraternity and sorority life and Inter Greek relations at a high level of accomplishment and in so doing to:\n\nProvide opportunity for member organizations to participate in programs designed for community betterment.\nFoster unity among its member fraternities and sororities, in order to perpetuate the Greek ideals and respect for the principles on which the Greek-lettered community was founded.\nConsider the goals and ideals of member groups as continually applicable to campus and personal life.\n\nAdvise the chapters and provide assistance to them through the administration of the Recruitment process.\nAct as a liaison with SUNY Geneseo, its administration and its affiliated organizations.

Women's Club Volleyball

We have three teams of varying levels of commitment and skill level; tournament team, scrimmage team, and practice team.

    Weekly on Sundays , and Saturdays at 12:00 PM in Kuhl gym

Delta Phi Epsilon

Our motto is Esse Quam Videri, Latin for "to be, rather than to seem to be". Our philanthropies include, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, ANAD (Anorexia nervosa and associated disorders), the DPhiE Educational Foundation, and the American Cancer Society. We participate in various community service events throughout the year, and as a social sorority, value all other Greek and Student run organizations. We maintain a standard of excellence in regards to scholarship, sisterhood, and membership development.

Men's Club Rugby

The Men’s Rugby team is devoted to learning and playing the sport of Rugby. We are all players and coaches and our goal is to perform at the highest level every game. We are also devoted to being an asset to the community of Geneseo both on-campus and off-campus. we commit ourselves to community service and enhancing the well-being of our peers and members of the Geneseo Community. We uphold in the conduct of our affairs all regulations of the College and the State University of New York.

Circle K International

Our mission is to better the world and to foster a community of leaders who will continue to make a positive impact on the world throughout their lifetime. We participate in a variety of events such as the annual Kiwanis Caregiver Luncheon to thank caregivers in the area, the annual Amy's Walk and Theresa Walk, and the Kiwanis Halloween Parade on Main Street in Geneseo. We also have assisted in the maintenance of Oakwood Cemetery, collected donations for Comfort Cases, ran Bingo at a local Senior Living Center, participated in Adopt a Highway, and much more. We are always looking for new ways to get involved in the community and make the most of our free time.

Men of Action and Change

On behalf of the organization Men of Action and Change, local chapter at the State University of New York College at Geneseo, all members are herein to swear by and uphold the statutes and codes inscribed in the following document. Men of Action and Change are inherently representative of themselves, as well as other members, at all times. They are to uphold the five core principles handed down by our forefathers of Service, Scholarship, Unity, Fitness, and Loyalty when conducting themselves both in private and public. We hold both social and service events both on and off campus.

Alpha Chi Rho

Alpha Chi Rho is a National Fraternity that was founded in 1895. The Phi Zeta Chi chapter of Alpha Chi Rho formed in SUNY Geneseo in 1980. The basic principles of this fraternity are found within the Landmarks that culminate the traditions of Alpha Chi Rho and represent what our brothers and founders believe is the ideal brotherhood.
