Organization Directory

Welcome to the Student Organization Directory!

With more than 180 student clubs and organizations, there truly is something for everyone at SUNY Geneseo.

A college-registered Student Organization is any student-driven group whose primary membership and entire leadership consists of students enrolled at SUNY Geneseo; is formed in order to contribute to the students' personal development and the advancement of the College Mission; is non-credit bearing; and is officially registered with the Department of Student Life.

Full registration does not imply college endorsement of the positions and views of any organization. Rather, it implies that the institution accepts the organization’s mission as educationally valid and that the organization has complied with institutional registration and continuing registration procedures.

Full registration with the College does not permit the organization to act in the name of the university, to represent the university, engage in any contractual obligation in the name of the university, nor represent the organization as being an official part of the university.

We participate in a variety of events such as the annual Kiwanis Caregiver Luncheon to thank caregivers in the area, the annual Amy's Walk and Theresa Walk, and the Kiwanis Halloween Parade on Main Street in Geneseo. We also have assisted in the maintenance of Oakwood Cemetery, collected donations for Comfort Cases, ran Bingo at a local Senior Living Center, participated in Adopt a Highway, and much more. We are always looking for new ways to get involved in the community and make the most of our free time.

Phi Kappa Pi

"We, members of the Alpha Clionian Fraternity, do solemnly affirm that we will maintain an unfaltering allegiance to this constitution and we will further strive to maintain its moral, social, and fraternal obligations, and constantly endeavor to improve ourselves and our fraternity." We strive to make it easier each year for our members to access the help they need from one another to focus on our academics, and get any help we need with them. Each semester we also do a variety of donations to different fundraiser around campus, or to different people. For example, in the past we have individually donated to a Fraternity Brother's older brother's memorial page, as well as a Go-Fund-Me account set up for my own nephew battling Pediatric Brain Cancer, we well as things like Crows Deep Freeze, or anything else around campus. Along with that, each December we host a Christmas Party for children of Migrant Families at the IFC with our fraternity brothers, Delta Kappa Tau, inviting the children to spend the morning with us for activities, lunch, as well as gifts they may not otherwise receive.

National Panhellenic Council

The National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) was established in 1902. It is an international umbrella organization which governs over and sets standards for 26 women's sororities over 620 campuses in the United States and Canada. We meet bi-weekly after the IGC meeting and are responsible for hosting Panhellenic recruitment.

The purpose of Geneseo Running Club is to provide a supportive environment for runners of all levels to meet and run together to promote stronger physical and mental health. Various fundraisers will be held throughout the year, to raise money for any club-related costs or to donate to charity. Members will have the option to compete in local 5k road races throughout the semester.

Delta Phi Epsilon

Delta Phi Epsilon is an international and Panhellenic sorority on campus. Our values include sisterhood, justice and love. Our organization holds many community service and philanthropic events throughout the year. Our National philanthropies are Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, ANAD and DPhie Educational Fund. Our local philanthropy is the American Cancer Society. Our sisters strive to make the most of their time at Geneseo and are also involved with other organizations on campus.

College Democrats at Geneseo

The purpose of this organization is to discuss Democratic politics and current events, while helping to spread the values of the Democratic Party across the Geneseo campus and outside community. We believe in exposing students to local, state-wide, national, and international politics and encouraging calm, rational discussions. Our organization welcomes students from across the political spectrum, and we are proud to foster communication among students who disagree with one another. We also believe in encouraging broader student participation in politics, working either on our own to help spread the values of the Democratic Party or working with the College Republicans and Political Affairs Club to encourage general political participation.
