Organization Directory

Welcome to the Student Organization Directory!

With more than 180 student clubs and organizations, there truly is something for everyone at SUNY Geneseo.

A college-registered Student Organization is any student-driven group whose primary membership and entire leadership consists of students enrolled at SUNY Geneseo; is formed in order to contribute to the students' personal development and the advancement of the College Mission; is non-credit bearing; and is officially registered with the Department of Student Life.

Full registration does not imply college endorsement of the positions and views of any organization. Rather, it implies that the institution accepts the organization’s mission as educationally valid and that the organization has complied with institutional registration and continuing registration procedures.

Full registration with the College does not permit the organization to act in the name of the university, to represent the university, engage in any contractual obligation in the name of the university, nor represent the organization as being an official part of the university.

Men's Club Basketball

Men’s Club Basketball is an organization designed to unite students of any skill or experience level under the common interest of basketball. This organization would hold practices to develop the skills of athletes at all levels and would introduce them to a competitive environment and a community of new friends. The hope is that the organization would be able to connect with other schools and compete with them and make connections from many different schools.

Delta Kappa Tau

Our current mission statement is to uphold the ideas of the importance of family and school. Also to help the community.

Partners in Health Engage

Partners in Health Engage is the collegiate level of the national organization "Partners in Health". We are very active on campus promoting equal opportunities for the access of healthcare no matter one's race, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status. One of our main events during the school year is Songs in Solidarity held in the spring semester where all proceeds are donated towards a cause. Previous years we have raised money for mothers in Lesotho and tuberculosis. Involvement in this organization is great if you are interested in pursuing public health, international relations, social justice, women's health, etc. We have engaging discussions during each meeting and learn about various public health issues that PIH helps tackle.

Club Baseball

We offer students at Geneseo a chance to continue to play baseball after high school who were not offered a chance to play collegiately. As we do not have a Varsity baseball team, this is our only chance on campus to do so.

The Ghana Project

The Ghana Project works to encourage the health, education and overall well-being of children who lack the financial availability and resources to do so for themselves in Ghana. Through fundraising and cultural events, the Ghana Project encourages other students to become more interculturally competent and provides opportunity for students to come together and volunteer to help out others as a community. Fundraising will benefit the Agogo Hospital and Besease School in Ghana.

Theta Chi Fraternity Kappa Theta Chapter

Theta Chi recruits young men who are enrolled in a college or grad school, with a mission to grow through fraternal relationships in a social and professional manner. Theta Chi is a proud sponsor of the USO, and each chapter dedicates at least one philanthropy event per year to the USO. Theta Chi also tries to form a network of social and professional connections for its members with alumni and other organizations.
