Organization Directory

Welcome to the Student Organization Directory!

With more than 180 student clubs and organizations, there truly is something for everyone at SUNY Geneseo.

A college-registered Student Organization is any student-driven group whose primary membership and entire leadership consists of students enrolled at SUNY Geneseo; is formed in order to contribute to the students' personal development and the advancement of the College Mission; is non-credit bearing; and is officially registered with the Department of Student Life.

Full registration does not imply college endorsement of the positions and views of any organization. Rather, it implies that the institution accepts the organization’s mission as educationally valid and that the organization has complied with institutional registration and continuing registration procedures.

Full registration with the College does not permit the organization to act in the name of the university, to represent the university, engage in any contractual obligation in the name of the university, nor represent the organization as being an official part of the university.

Sigma Delta Tau

It shall be the purpose of this fraternal organization (Sigma Delta Tau) to form a close social and fraternal union of those of similar ideals and to foster, maintain and instill such ideals in the hearts of its members as will result in actions worthy of the highest precepts of true womanhood, democracy and humanity.

Phi Kappa Pi

"We, members of the Alpha Clionian Fraternity, do solemnly affirm that we will maintain an unfaltering allegiance to this constitution and we will further strive to maintain its moral, social, and fraternal obligations, and constantly endeavor to improve ourselves and our fraternity." We strive to make it easier each year for our members to access the help they need from one another to focus on our academics, and get any help we need with them. Each semester we also do a variety of donations to different fundraiser around campus, or to different people. For example, in the past we have individually donated to a Fraternity Brother's older brother's memorial page, as well as a Go-Fund-Me account set up for my own nephew battling Pediatric Brain Cancer, we well as things like Crows Deep Freeze, or anything else around campus. Along with that, each December we host a Christmas Party for children of Migrant Families at the IFC with our fraternity brothers, Delta Kappa Tau, inviting the children to spend the morning with us for activities, lunch, as well as gifts they may not otherwise receive.

Alpha Sigma Tau

To develop the chatacter of each member through a study of ethics so that she will show in all her relationships, sincerity, honesty, love, and understanding; and \n2. To help each member enjoy the cultural advantages in life so that she will know how to select those things which are most worthwhile; and \n3. To develop in each member the social graces to the extent that she will be able to take her place in life with true dignity and poise.
