- Acknowledge outside ideas
- Let reader find source
“I” (and other conventional rules of style)
- OK to be flexible, especially to avoid stilted writing
- But avoid overly conversational tone that might suggest that you aren’t thinking very carefully about what you write. Maintain authority as author.
