Welcome to the Student Organization Directory!

With more than 180 student clubs and organizations, there truly is something for everyone at SUNY Geneseo.

A college-registered Student Organization is any student-driven group whose primary membership and entire leadership consists of students enrolled at SUNY Geneseo; is formed in order to contribute to the students' personal development and the advancement of the College Mission; is non-credit bearing; and is officially registered with the Department of Student Life.

Full registration does not imply college endorsement of the positions and views of any organization. Rather, it implies that the institution accepts the organization’s mission as educationally valid and that the organization has complied with institutional registration and continuing registration procedures. 

Full registration with the College does not permit the organization to act in the name of the university, to represent the university, engage in any contractual obligation in the name of the university, nor represent the organization as being an official part of the university.

Currently Known As

Currently Known As: educates students in the art of improvisational theatre through guided practice, performance, and self‐evaluation so that the student may learn from their self and others. Currently Known As: believes that all students can learn to perform with the help of friends, dedication and perseverance. Thus, Currently Known As: will hold no auditions, or turn anyone away who desires to be a member of the troupe. To do this would be to deny the students an opportunity to learn, perform, make friends, and grow as a person.

Club Tennis

Club tennis will be exposed in the Student Expo as a way to get more students involved in this beautiful sport. Tennis is great sport that increases ones reaction time and helps improves muscle tone, endurance and flexibility. Practice will be held in the form of mini tennis, volleying, stretches, running, etc. Games such as King/Queen of the court Gladiator and more will be conducted.

Pi Kappa Phi

Our Mission: To create an uncommon and lifelong brotherhood that develops leaders and encourages service to others for the betterment of our communities. \n\nOur Vision: A future where every Pi Kappa Phi embraces his role as a leader, puts service before self and improves the world around him. \n\nOur Public Values: Common Loyalty, Personal Responsibility, Achievement, Accountability, Campus Involvement, Responsible Citizenship, Lifelong Commitment.

Women's Ice Hockey Club at Geneseo

Geneseo's Woman's Ice Hockey Team consists of previously experienced ice hockey athletes along with new members who are committed to learning the techniques of this sport. The purpose of this team is to encourage all participants to improving their skills of ice hockey and to create a safe but fun environment. The team practices twice a week and competes in 12 to 14 games per season.

National Residence Hall Honorary

The purpse of the organization is to provide recognition to students for their time and effort in the advancement of the residence halls, to foster the values of NRHH, and to improve the quality of life on the Geneseo campus through NRHH sponsored activities. NRHH also is in charge of Geneseo's Of the Months, a form to recognize the work others do that has the possibility to give national recognition!
