301 Final Project
In week 4, you were assigned to a topic from the mathematical
objectives for the NYS Mathematics CST. Write an original
summary of each of the exemplars at a level appropriate for a
secondary teacher. Include explanations of concepts and
justifications of methods. As this is a summary, be sure to
feature the important points, but do not feel compelled to
exhaustively discuss the topic. Include references where
students may find more information. Please limit your summary
to no more than five pages (not including references, or
problems).
Write eight non-trivial problems (at least one from each of the
exemplars) with detailed solutions. Please present solutions
on separate paper from the problems.
Present all your materials professionally in a way that is clearly
comprehensible to other students.
The final project is due on the last day of class.
