Susana Castillo-Rodríguez Ph.D. My background is in Anthropology and Hispanic Linguistics. I do fieldwork in Equatorial Guinea, where I investigate issues related to linguistic colonization, missionary linguistics, and sustaining linguistic diversity. At Geneseo I teach classes in Language Policy and Planning, Language Contact and Spanish in the US. I am the coordinator of the study abroad program in Cadiz, Spain and I lead the study abroad course “Language Field School in Afro-Hispanic societies,” which takes place in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea.
