The Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) provides need-based grants to help eligible New York State residents meet tuition expenses at in-state public and private colleges. Awards range start at $500 per year and range up to full tuition or $5,000, whichever is less. Your award amount will depend on your parents' and your New York State net taxable income. The deadline for applying for TAP is May 1 of the academic year you are seeking aid.
