General Information:

  • The Geneseo Dance Ensemble offers development of proficiency in dance performance through rehearsal and presentation of various forms of dance.
  • A concert is presented on-campus each semester (see the performance calendar).
  • Admission is by permission of instructor following audition.
  • Dance Ensemble is required for students enrolled in the Dance Minor and Dance Concentration (DANC 265).

DANC 265 Course Description:

Development of proficiency in dance performance through rehearsal and presentation of various forms of dance. A concert is presented on-campus each semester. Admission is by permission of instructor following audition. (May be repeated for credit. A maximum of eight semester hours in DANC 265 may be applied to a degree.) Prerequisites/Corequisites: DANC 101-104, DANC 201-204, or DANC 301-303.
