Medical needs can be planned for or come unexpectedly; this source will help guide you through the transportation options for either situation.  The Geneseo Public Bus Service is a great resource for planned medical needs but can still be helpful with the unexpected, which is where the taxis and car services come in very useful.  Listed below are the most frequently used transportation types, area hospitals, and situations with solutions.

Northern Livingston County Red Cross Volunteer Driver

  • One week notice is required to ensure a driver is available
  • Payment requested is $20.00 round trip

Taxis and Car Services

  • Note the College has entered into an agreement with Quality Transportation Group and Century Bus Transportation/Sentry Cab that allows for the service fee to be billed directly to your student account

  • This service is available if you were transported to the hospital via ambulance and are in need of return transportation or if you are in need of transportation to a health service provider

  • Student ID is required at the time of service

  • It is always preferred and helpful to pay out-of-pocket when possible

  • Always be sure to confirm the price and method of payment when making arrangements
