Geneseo Crew Club

Rowing programs are a quintessential aspect of the nation's most prestigious colleges and universities. Founded in 1990 by former professor Dr. John B. Hoey, our program has grown considerably in size and competitive nature. Throughout the campus and local community, Geneseo crew is recognized for its disciplined athletes, philanthropy, and as its community of tight-knit students. Athletes who row as a part of Geneseo Crew develop beneficial life skills and habits which often lead students to academic success and life fulfillment. Our program consists of two teams, both Men and Women, whom are comprised of a novice and varsity team.

Throughout our fall and spring competitive seasons, we compete in regattas from Canada to Pennsylvania. Our club has the opportunity to race against a multitude of other collegiate teams, both larger and smaller than our own. Geneseo Crew takes pride in our ability to rise to the challenge of competing at such a high level at these regattas. Our athletes consistently improve physically and technically as a result of their hard work and determination.

Our team welcomes all levels of experience! For more information about practice times, expectations, or if you would like to join the team, contact us at our email.
