Major, Minor, and Microcredential
We offer curriculum at three levels:
- Major (B.A.) with tracks in either Comparative Literature (41-44 credits) or Literary Translation (40-44 credits)
- Minor in Literary Translation (18-20 credits)
- Microcredential in Literary Translation (11-13 credits)
- Major: Comparative Literature Track (41-44 Credits)

- CMLT 499 - Directed Study OR other Thesis/Capstone (with approval) Credits: 4
- One preparatory course in Language & Literature (see list) Credits: 4
Four upper-level literature courses, at least two in a language other than English, and at least one focusing on the role of genre (chosen under advisement) Credits: 16
Two courses in cross-linguistic theory and practice Credits: 6-8
One course in global politics and culture Credits: 3-4
