Office of Disability Services

  • Visit Dean Celia Easton in the Academic Planning and Advising office in Erwin 106.  This office directly assists students with registration, advising, graduation reviews to earn their diplomas, and skill sets integral to success — including study skills, consultation to help them stay on track, and strategies for communicating with faculty and mentors. 
  • Ms. Heather Wilhelm Routenberg is a full-time Academic Advisor who assists students with success strategies, major exploration, and academic planning.  
  • Ms. Leah Houk is a full-time Academic Advisor who assists students with success strategies, major exploration, and academic planning.  Ms. Houk will divide her time between DAPA and ODS during the Fall 2019 semester.
  • Ms. Jennifer Haines is the college's pre-health advisor; she will be holding office hours in Academic Planning & Advising (Erwin 106) on Tuesdays and Fridays. Email her at premed@geneseo.edu.
  • Ms. Kelly Hoag provides immediate help to students who drop into the office; Ms. Hoag is also the contact in Erwin 106 for assistance with graduate studies.
  • Ms. Phyllis Wixom assists students with course approvals and coordinates academic standards.
  • Students with questions about graduation audits should see the Director of Graduation Records, Ms. Kathy Gibson-Moore in Erwin 106.
  • The Department of Academic Planning and Advising (DAPA) is integrated with The Office of Disability Services (Erwin 22) and the Office of New Student Programs & Orientation (Ms. Katie Buckley, Erwin 220).  Each office provides personal attention to help students be successful at Geneseo.
