Information Security Program
SUNY Geneseo is committed to protecting sensitive information and ensuring it is collected, handled, stored, and used responsibly.
As required by the New York State Cyber Security Policy (2003) and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (1999), the College safeguards the confidentiality of information related to the privacy, health, and property rights of employees, students, alumni, applicants, and customers.
The Information Security Program Team leads the College’s formal security program, providing oversight and a framework for meeting legal and state policy requirements.
