Imam Khalid Latif, executive director and chaplain for the Islamic Center at New York University, will deliver SUNY Geneseo’s 2017 MacVittie Lecture Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. in the Doty Hall Recital Hall. His address, “Racialized Religion: Understanding Faith in the United States,” is free and open to the public.

Concert to Feature World Premiere of McClure’s Composition Generated from Antarctic Data

The annual fall concert of the Geneseo Chamber Singers and Spectrum Singers will have a unique tone this year featuring the world premiere of Glenn McClure’s ’86/MSEd ’11 new choral composition “Tremble,” based upon scientific data he gathered during a visit to Antarctica last year. The concert is at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22 in the Doty Hall Recital Hall and is free and open to the public.
