Christopher Prusak

Christopher Prusak has been appointed chief of the University Police Department (UPD) at Geneseo. Prusak succeeds Chief Thomas Kilcullen, who is retiring after six years in the position. The chief oversees all operational aspects of the department, including the uniformed patrol operations, investigations, and administrative components, including parking and transportation.

Prusak came to the College as assistant chief in 2018 after 16 years with the University Police at the University at Albany. He brought strong management skills to Geneseo and is currently playing an instrumental role in our COVID-19 response.

Prusak earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Excelsior College and is near completion of an MBA from the University at Albany. In addition, he received an associate’s degree in criminal justice from Monroe Community College and an associate’s degree in munitions material management from the Community College of the Air Force.
