Our Mission

Our mission is to ensure all students have access to basic food and hygiene essentials, with no questions asked. We prioritize anonymity and strive to remove the stigma around food insecurity.


All students can receive food from Knights' Harvest. The food provided is a supplement for those facing food insecurity.

November SNAP Benefit Delays

Knights' Harvest is actively monitoring the delay of SNAP Benefits for November. To avoid disruption to their food supply, students are encouraged to do the following:

Place a pickup request with Knights' Harvest using the "Pickup Request Form" found above.

Knights’ Harvest is committed to supporting the Geneseo student community and have items stocked to ensure students do not go hungry. Students are encouraged to order what they need to minimize disruption.

Request Meal Swipes

Knights’ Harvest has a limited number of meal swipes to the SUNY Geneseo Dining Halls. If you are using our services already and losing SNAP Benefits will further impact you, please reach out to us via email at knightsharvest@geneseo.edu

How to Receive Food

  1. Log in to SUNY Geneseo's PantrySoft system. Users can also scan the QR code outside The Pantry (College Union, Room 114) to access this system.
  2. On a users first login of each semester, fill out a registration form by providing basic info like name, G#, email and phone number.
  3. Select a time from the ones listed on-screen. If no times are listed, there are no currently scheduled dates that Knights' Harvest is opened.
  4. Once a pickup time has been selected, utilize the shop view to select items of interest. When all items are selected, check out. Upon check out, users receive a confirmation email containing a ticket number. This ticket number is used to identify and collect the users bag.
  5. Pick up your labeled bag at your selected time in Room 114, College Union. Bags are disassembled at the end of each week if a student.

What are the requirements to use Knights' Harvest?

None! We are here to provide to any student, no questions asked.

Does Knights' Harvest require recipients to show ID?

Our current model does not require recipients arriving to pick up their requested bags to provide proof of identification (just their unique identifier). It is a part of Knights' Harvest mission to consider all students’ comfort level of anonymity.

Will Knights' Harvest be offering any type of delivery option?

Knights' Harvest currently does not deliver. While exceptions are possible, please be mindful that these are only offered depending on the situation.

Does Knights' Harvest offer a shopping model so students can select their own items in-person?

Yes, as the form of unique pop-up events. Visit our social media pages for up to date information about upcoming events.

Can someone else pick up my bags?

Yes, they just need your ticket number given in the confirmation email.

What is included in the pick up bags?

The exact contents of the bags will vary depending on the products we receive from our suppliers and donations. Bags can contain a variety of perishable, non-perishable, hygiene and sustainability products, all subject to the items requested using our pickup request form.

If Knights' Harvest is closed, are there other resources I can use?

Yes! There are a few different resources in the Geneseo area.

The Geneseo-Groveland Emergency Food Pantry is located in the Central Presbyterian Church at 31 Center St. 

The Parish Outreach Center is located in the Geneseo United Methodist Church at 4520 Genesee St. (Route 63). 

As always, students can reach out by email to request assistance during non-staffing hours.

Pantry Hours

There will be a GOLD mentor in Room 114 during the following times:

Semester Hours:

  • Monday: 12pm to 3:30pm
  • Tuesday: 12pm to 4pm and 6:30pm to 8:30pm
  • Wednesday: 12pm to 2:30pm
