Geography Mission and Programs
Mission
The Department of Geography at Geneseo strives to combine successful preparation of its majors for graduate study and professional careers with a mission of effective teaching focused on strong core and service courses. Spanning the discipline's breadth and providing coursework in human and physical geography and geotechniques, the curriculum strives to enhance geographic literacy while at the same time ensuring that students develop intellectual skills important to the pursuit of an enriching and rewarding life.
