This summer, Emily Szczublewski ’27, a geological sciences major at SUNY Geneseo, is working with Jacalyn Wittmer Malinowski, assistant professor of geological, environmental, and planetary sciences, to collect sediment samples from two of the Finger Lakes. By analyzing the samples, they hope to identify microcrustaceans known as ostracods, which can be used to gauge the lake’s environmental conditions. Watch to learn more.  Author
