Osteopathic 4+4 with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine

A partnership program with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) facilitates early admission and guarantees SUNY Geneseo five spots in each year’s student cohort.

Apply as a High School Student (rising senior year strongly encouraged — only 5 spots per LECOM entry year)

  • Eligible majors: A biological or physical science most aligned with LECOM prerequisites — Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, or Physics (if the major is offered as a BS, students must pursue the BS)
  • GPA requirements:
    • 3.4 overall, with 3.2 in science courses after 30 credits
    • SAT 1240+ or ACT 26+
    • High school applicants: unweighted GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Application steps:
    • Apply as a rising high school senior (before the end of junior year at the latest)
    • Apply through the LECOM portal; interview required
    • Complete a minimum of 60 credits at Geneseo
    • Download the EAP Student Policy Manual from the LECOM application portal
