Join SUNY Geneseo as we celebrate the inauguration of Melinda D. Treadwell as the college’s 14th president. This week of special events will bring together students, faculty, staff, and community members to honor Geneseo’s traditions, celebrate its vibrant community, and welcome a new chapter in the college’s history.

Faculty and staff are welcomed to come to one of three times to greet President Treadwell and enjoy a seasonal ice cream sundae.

Student Event
Location: MacVittie College Union Patio
Time: 2–5 p.m.
Students are invited to come to the MacVittie College Union Patio and join in the festivities with President Treadwell. There will be food trucks, live music, activities and lots of fun!

Panel Discussion
This event is part of the Crack the Door Symposium. Join us for an inspiring conversation with three Geneseo alumni whose career journeys have taken them in exciting and impactful directions. Designed for students, faculty, and staff, this conversation will highlight the power of a Geneseo education. Come hear their stories, gain new perspectives, and be inspired by where a Geneseo education can take you.
