Himalayan Student Association (HSA)
The Himalayan Student Association (HSA) hopes to spread awareness and encourage involvement among Nepalese students and other individuals who share an interest in the culture and history. Future events and activities include Lhosar, Holi, and Tihar. Lhosar marks the celebration of a new year for Buddhists. The holiday is celebrated on the first day of the lunisolar Tibetan calendar, which corresponds to a date in February or March.
