GOLD’s Digital Badges (via Credly©)
As of spring 2023, all students that earn a GOLD Leadership Certificate will receive an official digital badge (via Credly©) issued by SUNY Geneseo.
Credly© hosts the largest and most connected digital credential network, enabling the College to verify Geneseo students’ knowledge and skills and to highlight integrative experiences within and beyond the classroom on business- and employment-focused social media platforms, such as LinkedIn©.
Earning digital badges increases the visibility of Geneseo students’ skills to employers and graduate schools by giving students a platform to curate examples of their work, articulate connections across different types of experiences, and apply skills in new contexts.
