Monday, September 18th is Constitution Day. In honor of the day, Geneseo is hosting a special deliberative dialog discussion using the National Issues Forum guide on "Political Fix--How Should We Get American Politics Back on Track?”

The dialog is designed to engage students, faculty and staff, and community residents from all political perspectives in guided small group discussions and dialog. There will be a brief explanation of the deliberative dialog process followed by table discussions with moderators at each table to make sure everyone has opportunities to share their thoughts and perspectives.

Attendees are required to register in advance by Friday, Sept. 15 at noon. Walk-ins, unfortunately, cannot be accommodated for this event. Students can register for Silver or Diamond Certificate credit.

Geneseo’s provost and vice president for academic affairs, Stacey Robertson, will serve as moderator and will open the event, and over 25 faculty members, staff, student, and community leaders will serve as group facilitators.

The event will take place in the MacVittie College Union Ballroom from 2:30–3:45 pm.
