The State University of New York has launched SUNY Research Connect, a networking platform that accelerates discovery and collaboration by helping researchers find collaborators, share expertise, and access ongoing projects. The portal highlights faculty researchers from SUNY Geneseo and features nearly 7,000 researchers from 26 campuses.
“We are excited to share the valuable research of our faculty in SUNY’s new Research Connect portal,” said Anne Baldwin, director of sponsored research at SUNY Geneseo. “As a four-year liberal arts college, Geneseo has a strong community of researchers who advance their disciplines and provide students with hands-on experience in an array of research fields.”
The portal will be regularly updated with new researchers and projects, offering ongoing opportunities for collaboration and discovery of emerging research areas. SUNY Geneseo also highlights its researchers’ work in the News Center and Research Briefs, both available on the college’s website.
“With this portal, SUNY will offer resources and information that help fuel groundbreaking advancements and collaboration throughout the SUNY system,” said SUNY Chancellor King. “I am excited to see how this new initiative will bridge the gap and foster collaboration between government, academia, and industry.”
