Summer Programming

SUNY Geneseo proudly offers summer programs for K–12 students, including residential camps and flexible day camps held on its scenic campus. Designed to spark curiosity through hands-on learning and enrichment activities, Geneseo’s summer programs provide meaningful academic, creative, and social experiences for elementary, middle, and high school students.

Current Programs

Geneseo Summer Academy

A one-week residential program in July for high school sophomores and juniors who want to prepare for college, explore academic interests, and gain real college experience. Students will live in residence halls, eat in dining halls, and participate in hands-on learning led by Geneseo’s expert faculty.

Soaring Stars

A free summer enrichment program that brings together sixth and seventh-grade students from across Livingston County for hands-on learning, creative projects, and STEM exploration.

Students engage in classroom projects, outdoor activities, team problem-solving, and a special off-campus field trip. Many families also appreciate that Soaring Stars provides a safe, structured daytime experience with transportation and meals provided.

Coding and AI

A four-week intensive program designed to introduce high school students to the fundamentals of coding, data analytics, and artificial intelligence. Through hands-on learning experiences and project-based instruction, students will gain practical exposure to essential digital skills that prepare them for college-level study and emerging career fields in technology, business analytics, and data science.
