Intersession Cost & Financial Liability Information
The rates below are accurate for Intersession 2025-2026.
- For students registered for intersession only, bills will be issued on November 24 and due on December 29, 2025.
- For students registered in both intersession and spring 2026 classes, bills will be issued in mid-December and due on January 15, 2026.
Note that tuition for Intersession is billed by credit hour.

- Returned Check Fee: $20.00
- Neuroscience Lab Fee: $50.00 assists with covering cost of neuroscience lab supplies
- Biology Lab Fee: $11.00-$50.00 assists with covering cost of biology lab supplies
- Chemistry lab fee: $24.00-$50.00 assists with covering the cost of chemistry lab supplies
- Geology lab fee: $5.00-$50.00 assists with covering the cost of geology lab supplies
- Geography Lab Fee: $5.00 – $20.00 assists with covering the cost of geography lab supplies

Financial Liability Dates for Intersession (12/29/25 – 1/16/26)
Withdrawal by the end of:
- December 28 (Sunday): 0% liability of tuition & all fees
- December 30 (Tuesday): 0% liability of tuition and comprehensive fee only (college fee remains)
- January 4 (Sunday): 50% liability of tuition and comprehensive fee
- After January 4: 100% liability
You must drop your course(s) online in myGeneseo on or before the above dates to be considered for a reduction of tuition & fees. Please contact the Registrar at registrar@geneseo.edu if you need assistance dropping a course.
