SA Business Meetings

SA business meetings are Wednesdays at 6:15pm in the MacVittie College Union Hunt Room. SA-funded organizations are required to send a representative, but meetings are open to everyone.

Purchase Orders

SA-funded clubs and organizations, and clubs with non-funded accounts are required to request a purchase order prior to spending money to ensure they have the funds available to make a purchase.

Student Association Executive Committee




Student Association is led by an eight member executive committee elected to office every March. The SA Executive Committee is effectively the legislative and executive branch of the student government and is responsible for representing the interests of the student body at large to external entities in addition to maintaining a high standard of campus life.

SA Professional Staff & Advisor




  • Kate has been with SA since 1997. She serves as a resource person to SA Exec, is the co-supervisor to SA professional staff and is the direct supervisor for the SA Tech Directors. Kate implements all financial decisions approved by SA Exec, approves purchase orders, and audits organizational financial records for accuracy and adherence to general guidelines. She signs all check requests for submission to College President's designee.

  • Dianne has been the Ticket Office Manager with the Student Association for 17 years, providing quality customer service to the Geneseo campus and community. When she's not hard at work in the office, she enjoys gardening, bicycling and family time on Conesus Lake.

  • Will joined SA in the August of 2013. He has coached for high schools, colleges, and club teams. He offers instruction in the sport of rowing and guidance to the Crew Club. When he is not coaching he enjoys rowing himself.

  • Nancy has been with SA for 23 years. Some of her responsibilities include purchase orders, check requests, on line ordering, charge cards and answering the phones. When she is off during the summer months, Nancy spends her time sewing, gardening and traveling to see her children and grandchildren.

  • Kristen joined SA in 2007 and works with students and staff on campus to develop professional and creative marketing materials. When she's not designing, she loves snuggling with her chocolate lab, photography, and walking to her favorite homemade ice cream shop.

  • Patty advises the Executive Board on issues of policy, procedure and other practices within the College and SUNY. She attends business and board meetings and serves as the College designee in signing check requests. She also assists with supervision of staff and serves as a communications conduit between other College offices and SA.
