Why study applied AI in business at Geneseo?
AI has gained significant momentum in recent years and is redefining our work, business operations, markets, and societies. This minor offers students a focused pathway to develop a robust understanding of AI technologies and business fundamentals. Designed to complement a variety of major fields of study, the program prepares students to leverage state-of-the-art AI tools mindfully, ethically, and effectively, creating value in diverse organizational contexts. Students will also develop practical skills in applying AI effectively within real-world organizational settings through hands-on learning, including individual and collaborative projects guided by business faculty and industry leaders.
All elective courses in the applied AI in business program can also serve as electives in other disciplinary programs, shortening time-to-degree for students pursuing multiple business majors and minors.
