What’s an event, club, or activity you would recommend checking out at Geneseo?: GSTEPPAS: the only step team on campus that carries great energy and has a welcoming interactive performance style. Original Expression (OGX) a multicultural dance group with original choreography! Gospel Choir at Geneseo (GCG) a fun group of talented students who welcome people from all backgrounds and musical experiences.
Do you have any advice for prospective students?: Geneseo is a space where you'll simultaneously be pushed to succeed but also have the opportunity to learn from failure. Don't be discouraged by it! The most moving lessons I've learned were the result of one shortcoming or another.

What’s an event, club, or activity you would recommend checking out at Geneseo?: Men’s Ice Hockey home games at the IRA S. Wilson ice arena. Campus and community come together, creating one of the best college hockey atmosphere’s in the nation.
Do you have any advice for prospective students?: Personal initiative. Make a connection with your counselor. Let them know that your interest is sincere. We as counselors are here to assist in the process and find a way to make SUNY Geneseo a reality.
Fun Fact About Kris: Beyond my role in Admissions, I am also the Men's Ice Hockey Assistant Coach, with my primary role being the recruitment coordinator. Been a part of 6 of the 7 programs SUNYAC Championship teams (2 as player / 4 as coach).

What’s an event, club, or activity you would recommend checking out at Geneseo?: The club and organization expo at the beginning of each semester is a must-do as a student. It’s awesome learning about all the different opportunities available to get involved on campus. Plus it’s a great way to meet people as a first-year student.
Do you have any advice for prospective students?: 1. If you don't have a resume of the awesome things you've been doing in high school, start one now! A resume is a living document you can update as you continue to accumulate experiences. 2. Do your research! College is a huge investment of your time, resources, and energy. As with any big decision, you should commit to being as informed as possible. Go on college websites and dive deep. Check out all forms of social media to get a sense of what daily life is like on campus. Can you picture yourself there? 3. Don't be afraid to ask questions! 4. Stay Calm. Stay Organized. Stay Positive. Breathe.
Fun Fact About Rachel: I went to a fundraiser at Jon Bon Jovi's house in NJ in 2004. It was an outstanding evening filled with movie stars, music, and dedicated humans working toward a common goal. He even sang my 'get pumped' anthem ‘Livin' On A Prayer!’

Do you have any advice for prospective students?: It is way more helpful to come and visit campus if you have an opportunity. Describing "the feel" of the campus is harder than experiencing it for yourself!
