Anna's Ball Fundraiser
In the Spring of 2010, the Inter Greek Council adopted Anna's Wish as their official philanthropy. Throughout the year, IGC hosts various fundraising events leading up to Anna's Ball. Anna's Ball is a formal mocktail party, held on the campus of SUNY Geneseo, aimed at raising money for Anna's Wish and for honoring and remembering the organization's namesake, Anna McKinney.
This year's Anna's Ball was successfully held on April 16th, 2023 raising $2,263 for Anna's Wish! You can view pictures of the event below. We hope to see you next year!

About Anna's Wish
Fulfilling Anna's Wish To Help Other Children Battling Cancer (www.annaswish.org)
Anna’s Wish is a 501(c)3 organization created by Jeff and Jessie McKinney (Geneseo graduates) in memory of their daughter, Anna, who lost her battle against Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in 2010.
Some families with children battling cancer are unable to provide gifts at the holidays that these brave warriors deserve AND NEED to help fight this horrible disease, because they are struggling just to pay the bills. The sole purpose of Anna’s Wish is to help families provide their children with the holiday joy they deserve and to perhaps forget about the worries that cancer brings if even for a few short moments.
100% of your donation will go towards gifts for these children, 100%. All administrative costs of this organization are covered by the McKinney Family.
Contributing to Anna's Ball
IGC greatly appreciates every contribution, large or small, made to Anna's Wish on their behalf. Students, faculty, staff, parents, friends, and the local community are all invited to contribute to our fundraising efforts either through individual gifts or through event sponsorships.
