The admissions committee reviews applicants' academic records and examination results, recommendations, English proficiency, and other materials to determine your probability of success at SUNY Geneseo.

We evaluate applications on a rolling basis. As soon as you submit your application, the International Admission Committee will typically review it and send you an admission decision within 2–4 weeks.
Transferring Credit from AP, IB and A-Level Exams
SUNY Geneseo offers academic credit to students with scores of 3, 4, or 5 on Advanced Placement Exams.
SUNY Geneseo offers academic credit to students who complete an IB diploma program and have satisfactory exam results.
SUNY Geneseo offers academic credit to students with satisfactory A-Level exam results. Typically, students with exam results of "C" or better may receive up to 6 semester hours for each full A-Level exam.
