Global Languages and Cultures News Phi Beta Kappa speaker Dr. Padrón visited our department on February 23. He teaches at the University of Virginia. Dr. Padrón is a specialist in the literature and culture of the early modern Hispanic world and has published extensively on questions of empire, literature, cartography, and the geopolitical imagination.
