SUNY COIL Global Commons

SUNY COIL Global Commons is a new virtual program that will focus on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

The 6 week, 6 credit program will be offered for all students throughout SUNY this summer, from July 6 - August 15. During the program, students will be virtually partnered with an international community-based or non-governmental organization. They will learn skills in storytelling, intercultural communications, and collaborative project development through by telling the story of one of these global CBOs or NGOs.

Participants will join other SUNY students from across the 64-campus SUNY system to take action on one of six selected United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (Poverty, Gender Equality, Climate Action, Sustainable Cities and Communities, Reducing Inequalities, or Good Health and Well-being).

Students interested in cultivating international perspectives on top UN goals and adding an intercultural, high-impact experience to their resume can enroll now by completing the enrollment form. Complete the form by June 15th! By submitting this application, you are committing to registering for the SUNY COIL Global Commons program.
