Department of Anthropology
Founded in 1969, the Geneseo Department of Anthropology strives to provide students with a broad, yet integrated, rigorous education with an emphasis on understanding and appreciating human diversity, and a commitment to fostering equity, inclusion, belonging, and social justice. The department offers two bachelor of arts degree programs: a B.A. in anthropology and a B.A. in sociomedical sciences.
