The Geneseo Chamber Singers, Dr. Gerard Floriano, Director

Founded in 1957, The Geneseo Chamber Singers has long maintained a high standard of excellence, and, appropriately, earned an enviable regional, national, and international reputation. Throughout its auspicious history, The Geneseo Chamber Singers has performed for many national and international organizations including the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA), the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA), and the Music Educators National Conference (MENC), as well as before the memberships of the New York State Teachers Association (NYSTA), the College Music Society (CMS), and the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS); at the Antonin Dvorák Festival and the Vicenza Choral Festival in, respectively, the Czech Republic and Italy; and with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) and the Rochester Chamber Orchestra (RCO).

The choir regularly tours internationally, and since 1971 has performed in virtually every major European city.  Annual regional tours, too numerous to list, have taken the group south to Atlanta and Nashville, east to Boston, New York, and Long Island, north to Toronto and Montreal, and west to Chicago and Kansas City. Twenty-three volumes of privately produced recordings have been sold nationwide.
