Crystal Ferrell

Crystal K. Ferrell joined the faculty at SUNY Geneseo in 2006. Professor Ferrell’s areas of specialty are Costume Design, Costume Construction, Stage Makeup, Puppetry, and Play Analysis. She has designed the costumes for numerous productions, including Tartuffe, Parade, Museum, Wings, The Pirates of Penzance, A Little Night Music, The Grapes of Wrath, Fool for Love, and The Game of Love and Chance, as well as for many dance concerts. She has also designed costumes for GEVA Theatre, Theatre Young Kids Enjoy (TYKES), National Technical Institute for the Deaf, Artist Repertory Theatre, The Circuit Playhouse, Nazareth College, Monroe Community College, Western Oregon State University, and Central Missouri University. Professor Ferrell’s puppets and masks designs have appeared in Aladdin, Willy Wonka, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and The Elves and the Shoemakers. She is a member of the United States Institute of Theatre Technology and the Union Internationale de la Marionnette.
