Monroe Hall was renovated in 2013. Constructed to LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold certification standards, it is the most eco-friendly building on campus. Located in the Central Village, Monroe Hall is close to the student union and Mary Jemison dining hall. It boasts in-hall classrooms, small study areas, and a geothermal well used for heating and cooling.
There are three room layouts available in Monroe Hall: corridor-style double rooms, six-person suites, or three-person "junior" suites with private bathrooms. Each floor has a laundry room and kitchenette, and there is indoor bicycle storage on the first floor. It is also the location of two Living-Learning Communities, Tesla House and Eco House.
Users with a Geneseo email may log in to access the floor plans.
