Monroe Hall
Monroe Hall was renovated in 2013. Constructed to LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold certification standards, it is the most eco-friendly building on campus. Located in the Central Village, Monroe Hall is close to the College Union and Mary Jemison dining hall. It boasts in-hall classrooms, small study areas, and a geothermal well used for heating and cooling. It is also the location of two Living-Learning Communities, Tesla House and Eco House.

Additional Information
- Students of any year can live in Monroe Hall and most are members of either Tesla House (all first-year students) or Eco House (all years).
- There are three room layouts available in Monroe Hall: corridor-style double rooms, six-person suites, or three-person "junior" suites with private bathrooms.
- Each floor has a laundry room and kitchenette, and there is indoor bicycle storage on the first floor.
