Jaramillo ’21 and Brush ’20 Earn DAAD RISE Scholarships

Nolberto Jaramillo ’21, biology, and Daniel Brush ’20, chemistry, have been awarded 2019 DAAD RISE scholarships to intern this summer in German research laboratories. Jaramillo will work in Erlangen, Germany at the Friedrich-Alexander Universität in the Bosserhoff Laboratory. Brush will be researching in Giessen, Germany with the Schreiner Research Group at Justus-Liebig-Universität.

Alumna to Share The Tales Teeth Tell

SUNY Geneseo is hosting biological anthropologist Tanya M. Smith ‘97, Ph.D., for a lecture based on her recent book, The Tales Teeth Tell. Smith’s talk takes place at 4 p.m., Tuesday, April 2 in Newton 204. Smith’s talk will be followed by a book signing. Copies of her book will be available for sale. The event is free and open to the public.
