Commencement Ceremony Assignment

There are two undergraduate commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 18: a morning ceremony and an afternoon ceremony. The first will take place at 9 a.m. and the second at 2 p.m. Both will take place in the Wilson Ice Arena in the Merritt Athletic Facility.

Graduates are assigned a ceremony based on their academic major; please see information below. For double majors, the ceremony assigned will be according to the graduate's primary major (the major in which the degree will be granted).

Graduates completing their degree as an Individualized Studies major should contact the Graduates Records Office to identify the correct ceremony to participate in.

Should you need to submit an appeal to change ceremonies due to extenuating circumstances, you may submit a request by 4pm on Friday, March 22. Requests will be reviewed the week of March 25 and graduates notified of ceremony assignment change by March 29.
