Commencement Ceremony Assignment

There are two undergraduate commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 18: a morning ceremony and an afternoon ceremony. The first will take place at 10 a.m. and the second at 2 p.m. Both will take place in the Wilson Ice Arena in the Merritt Athletic Facility.

Graduates are assigned a ceremony based on their academic major; please see information below. For double majors, the ceremony assigned will be according to the graduate's primary major (the major in which the degree will be granted).

Graduates completing their degree as an Individualized Studies major should contact the Graduates Records Office to identify the correct ceremony to participate in.

The average duration of each ceremony is two hours. Graduates are allotted four tickets, and the ceremonies will be livestreamed

Commencement for master's degree recipients will take place on Friday, May 10, at 7 p.m. in Brodie Hall's Alice Austin Theatre.
