Chris has been in working in higher education for 31 years, with over 15 at Geneseo! His favorite part of working in financial aid is helping students work through the process of applying for and managing their aid.

Primary Responsibilities: Pell Grant, Excelsior & State Scholarship, Foundation/ Institutional Scholarship Liaison, and TEACH Grant program oversight
Megan Kennerknecht, Assistant Director, MS
Megan has been working in higher education for over 15 years. Being happy at Geneseo is easy with the most gracious, motivated and friendly group of colleagues & students in one place.

Jonathon Heininger, Senior Financial Aid Counselor, MBA
Jon has been working in higher education for over 18 years. As an alumni, Geneseo's campus and the town feel like home. Jon enjoys being part of a staff and with students who are polite, sincere and gracious.... truly Geneseo traits.

Maribel Maldonado, Financial Aid Counselor, MS
Maribel has been working in higher education for 15 years. Her passion is helping students process their applications to receive the aid necessary to complete their degree. Advocating for single moms to finish their education and help their families succeed has been a highlight of her professional career.

Samantha has been working at Geneseo to 5 years and enjoys interacting with students/families.
