Set in the early 1980s in St. Andrew’s Parish, Jamaica, brown girl in the ring is a memory play with music. Fiercely humane, compassionate, uncompromised, the play is a victory for the theatre and for the transforming power of the imagination to turn devastation into beauty.

This Meet the Playwright event and reading is free and open to the public. Register online to attend.
